Coastal Home Decor for Tranquil Living
Does anyone else find joy and serenity when surrounded by décor that reminds you of the beach?
Born in Florida and growing up on the Eastern Shore of Maryland, I have always been close to the water and ocean. I find peace and a stillness when I am on the beach or on the water and it helps me calm the crazy of everyday life. As a wife, pet parent, building a new home, and a business woman, I am constantly moving with little to no time for myself. As I have grown up, the beach has become my place of refuge, the place where my mind can take a break and just be present in the world with family and friends.
As much as I’d love to be at the beach 24/7 and hold on to that tranquility, I’ve found the next best thing is to bring elements that remind me of the ocean to our home! Our first home was on its way to having all the elements we wanted to really bring that coastal vibe together and in this new home my husband and I plan to incorporate some of these same design principals.
